Job description
Our Honeydew based company is looking for a financial manager, Monday to Friday 8am to 1pm.
Full financial function to ensure compliance with IFRS and statutory obligations. To ensure financial info is recorded accurately to give an accurate reporting on the company’s liquidity and financial performance.
Extensive knowledge of SAGE Evolution 200 and Pastel Payroll, general ledger and cashbooks, trial balance, accounts payable, accounts receivable, various recons, SARS, EMP201 returns, VAT, bank transactions, audit prep, payroll, compile budgets, petty cash, stats is needed for this position.
Requirements
- B.Com or equivalent or nearly complete, with a minimum of 7-10 years + working experience a must
- Someone who is meticulous and has a high level of accuracy in all aspects of work
- Someone who is able to handle a variety of responsibilities simultaneously while remaining grounded and focused on output.
- Excellent understanding of IFRS and necessary country reporting regulations, labour and tax laws etc
- Someone who is an all-rounder, has experience working with all payroll and financial functions
- Self-starter, preferably someone who is immediately available or within the next 2 weeks
