Human Resources Assistant

Duties and responsibilities:
  • Assist with all HR administration.
  • Prepare basic administrative reports.
  • Provide general administration support to the HR division.
  • Assist with the updating of employee records.
  • Assist with basic HR-related queries from clients.
  • Compile HR letters, reports and HR documents in general.
  • Assist with the coordination of HR events and meetings.
  • Coordinate documents and information for HR reporting.
  • Assist with the coordination and reporting of facilities/building upkeep.
Education and qualifications:
  • Relevant post matric qualification of at least two years in duration (administrative or related).
  • Valid drivers licence.
  • South African citizen.
Knowledge, skills and experience:
  • Five years’ experience in an administrative role.
  • Three years’ documents and reports coordination experience.
  • Three years’ experience in a customer liaising role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point).
  • Ability to perform well under pressure.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Good writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Strict respect for and adherence to confidentiality.
