The candidate will be responsible for the following:
Investigate complaints received from members of the public against unregistered persons.
Report all complaints against unregistered persons to the South African Police Services for investigation and prosecution.
Assist the SAPS to investigate any person who perform any act indicating, or calculated to lead persons to believe, that he or she is registered in terms of this Act.
Assist the South African Police Services to investigate any person who uses the name of any registered person or any name or title referred to in section 18 or 21 of the Act.
Assist the South African Police Services to investigate any person who pretend to be, or in any manner hold or allow himself or herself to be held out as a person registered in terms of this Act.
Compile Management and progress reports to Registrar, Council and the Investigating Committee on all reported cases to the South African Police Services.
Requirements:
Grade 12 (Senior Certificate)
Degree/diploma (accredited by SAQA on NQF 6 level) in policing/law/criminology/forensic investigation
Have successfully completed Basic police training as well as detective or criminal offences investigation-related experience.
Postgraduate qualification in compliance, arbitration and/or dispute resolution will be an added advantage
Minimum of three years relevant work experience.
In this position you will be reporting to the legal and compliance manager
