Junior Internal Sales Administrator

• Taking telephone calls when required and assisting with any queries that can be addressed immediately
• Capturing finished goods call-off requirements into the ERP (enterprise resource planning) system
• Submitting finished goods stock reports to KAM’s and/or customers, as required.
• Ensuring that selling prices are correct in the ERP system

• Responsible to monitor finished goods stock levels and placing the necessary replenishment orders – maintaining minimum stock levels.
• Monitoring the required delivery dates to ensure OTIF (On-Time-In-Full) supply.
• Liaise with KAM; factory and customers regarding any delays with deliveries.
• Direct receipt and processing of the finished goods call-offs for Cape-Town customers.
• Book time-slots of customer deliveries with third party distribution agent
• Handling of queries to assist the accounts department
• Ensures the correct artwork is used when orders are processed
• KAM with administration functions

• Good oral and communication skills and, in particular, the ability to create and retain strong telephonic (or video conference) relationships with customers
• Details-orientated and able to work with a high degree of accuracy on an ERP system
• Ability to multitask and be flexible to meet challenging deadlines
• Must be self-managing to complete tasks with limited supervision

• 2-3 years’ experience in an internal sales function, preferably in manufacture
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing through email etc
• Experience in working on an ERP system is a positive
• Intermediate skill in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to create basic reports/tables

• Minimum Grade 12
• A degree or diploma would be considered an added advantage
