Production and Design Desktop Operator

Job description

• Adhere to company policies and departmental procedures
• Upload all correct information onto site specification system

• Manage all day-to-day queries, problems and crisis areas timeously
• Ensure that accurate records are kept on all campaigns through Trello
• Manage all print production DTP aspects of various media including outdoor, indoor, airports, transit branding, rank branding, activations, PRASA, malls branding, golf branding and street furniture
• Process and track mock-ups, electronic templates and printer proofs with suppliers
• Proactively communicate supplier issues to Print Production manager and coordinate solution implementation
• Maintain quality of service by establishing and enforcing organisation standards
• Schedule daily studio division workload
• Provide mock ups and new business support as needed for PMG Group
• Participate in brainstorming session to share new design perspectives and ideas with internal and external clients
• Maintain quality of service by establishing and enforcing organisation standards and procedures

• Maintain own personal development plan

• Ensure that accurate information is submitted to the AE’s and suppliers
• Build and maintain relationships with relevant internal stakeholders
• Communicate and advise all stakeholders on any changes in artwork timeously
• Provide regular feedback to Print Production Manager
