The job on offer:
We are currently looking for an experienced enterprise PR account manager, with strong media relations in the tech industry and excellent client management experience, to join our team.
Report to: CEO
Level of experience: Mid-senior
Salary: Market-related
Start date: July/August 2023
Candidate requirements:- We are looking for smart, experienced tech PR client managers to serve our clients with exceptional care and professionalism
- Technology must be in your blood. We love tech here and you will need to too as all our clients are tech companies
- You must be able to self-manage; we don't micromanage here but you need to deliver tangible results
- Quality of output must be at your core. Seriously… quality rules at DUO and so all A-types welcome

Principle job responsibilities:Duties include, but are not limited to
- Manage the development and implementation of PR and digital marketing plans for up to five enterprise tech clients simultaneously (with your team of course)
- Drive key media coverage for your clients
- Distribute technology orientated press announcements with the support of our professional content development specialists
- Coordinate and manage digital marketing campaigns for optimum results with our digital team
- Quality assure delivery of the team and its outputs including proposals and pitches
- Monitor expenditures against budgets to ensure targets are met
- Monthly reporting
- Administration of accounts (records, billing, etc.)
Qualifications and experience:- Matric - essential
- Relevant tertiary qualification. Degree preferable - essential
- Four + years' relevant tech working experience - essential
- Solid understanding of local tech landscape - essential
- Existing tech and business media relations - critical
- Press and digital writing experience - advantageous
- Experience using Google docs - advantageous
