The expertise of a conceptual thinking senior systems compliance analyst is sought by a dynamic financial security regulator in Centurion. Your core role will be to engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure Compliance, exchange information, provide solutions and solve queries related to data systems and reporting obligations and requirements. Applicants require a suitable University Degree in Computer Science/Information Systems, have six years relevant technical work experience including Business Analysis, testing ICT solutions, SQL, SSRS, Power BI, Data Management and MIS and statistical experience.
Duties:
- Advise external entities on meeting their reporting requirements in terms of the Act independently.
- Facilitate the resolution of registration and reporting matters.
- Develop and maintain tools to monitor and resolve external registration and reporting issues.
- Develop documentation and tools for systems and data monitoring.
- Engage stakeholders to determine system development and enhancement business requirements.
- Provide statistics, and develop queries, reports, and dashboards.
- Supervise registration approvals and verifications where required.
- Facilitate and monitor the remediation process of reports.
- Develop an industry compliance analysis based on monitoring exercises conducted.
- Support pre and post-on-site reviews and inspections where required.
- Provide guidance and direction on complex matters related to data systems and reporting.
- Provide mentorship/ coaching, guidance and ensuring transfer of skills to colleagues.
- Allocate work and assess quality of output provided by the junior team
Requirements:
Qualifications -- Relevant university degree (e.g., BSc Computer Science, BCom Information Systems).
Experience/Skills -- Minimum six years relevant technical experience
- Business analysis experience.
- Good understanding of the System Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Experience in documenting business processes.
- Testing ICT solutions.
- Data management experience.
- MIS and statistical experience.
- MS SQL, SSRS and Power BI experience.
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
- Project management skills.
- An intermediate to advanced level of computer literacy, including MS Word, MS Access, MS Project; MS Excel, MS PowerPoint.
Advantageous -- Streamlining and re-engineering business processes.
- ICT systems auditing experience.
- Knowledge of XML.
