Mark1 is looking for an experienced, creative and independent social media manager to nurture a variety of brands including pharmaceutical, alcohol, tech and automotive.
Most importantly, we're looking to work with someone who can work independently, nurturing each brand’s social approach with meticulous care. Each member of the MK1 team is collaborative, positive, self-sufficient and creative with a desire to help people.
The start date for this position is 1 September.
Key responsibilities:
Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences
Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals
Set specific objectives and report on ROI
Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news)
Monitor and assess traffic metrics
Collaborate with other teams, like strategy, client service and data and analytics team, to ensure brand consistency
Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews
Oversee social media accounts’ design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures and blog layout)
Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications
Social media manager skills:
Should have 2-3 years of social media management experience
Experience in client service, content planning, schedule management
Hands on experience in creative briefing, paid boosting and insightful performance reports
Knowledge of third-party software (eg. Hootsuite, SproutSocial or Brandwatch)
Knowledge and understanding of social platform insights on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and TikTok
Excellent copywriting skills
Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
Knowledge of online marketing channels
Excellent communication skills
Analytical and multitasking skills
