Before we start to discuss Bahrain GDP first we discuss Bahrain’s country overview, so Bahrain is officially called the Kingdom of Bahrain. It is an island country located in Western Asia.

Its land area is 7,85,00km2. Its land area rank is 172nd in the world. Its population is 1,569,400 in the year 2019. Its population rank is 149th in the world. Bahrain’s population density is 1,910/km2. Its population density rank is 3rd in the world.

Bahrain currency is called the Bahraini dinar. Bahrain’s economy is formally called the developing and emerging economy and a high-income economy. Bahrain’s inflation rate is 2.9% in the year 2021.

Its HDI rate is 0.852 in the year 2019. Its HDI rank is 45th in the world in the year 2019. When we talk about its Labour force by occupation, agriculture 1%, industry 33%, and services are 66% in the year 2013.

The unemployment rate in Bahrain is 4% in the year 2020. Its gross external debt is $52 billion in the year 2018.
