Before we start to discuss Chad GDP first we discuss Chad’s country overview, so Chad is officially called the Republic of Chad. Chad is a landlocked country located in Central Africa.

Chad’s currency is called the Central African Franc. Chad’s economy is generally called the least developed economy and a low-income economy.

The inflation rate in Chad is 4% in the year 2019. 66% of Chad’s total population lives below the poverty line. Its HDI rate is 0.410 in the year 2019 Which is considered a very low HDI rate in the world.

Its HDI rank is 187th in the world countries. When we talk about is Labour force by occupation,  agriculture 80%, industry 5%, and services are 15% in the year 2012.

Chad’s gross external debt is $3.6 billion in the year 2020. Its total foreign reserves are $148 million in the year 2020.
